Redhawk Town Center

This 56-acre regionally-oriented center on Highway 79 in Temecula, CA was master-planned around the historic Vail Ranch site, which encompassed four acres and included five small structures, the oldest of which was built in 1868.

The simple agrarian forms and materials of the existing ranch buildings were incorporated into the design of the center, which was anchored by Kohl’s and Walmart, and includes Marshalls, Ross, Petsmart, Henry’s, and Sportsmart.

Successfully breaking down the large scale of the big box tenants and relating them to the ranch buildings was the key to securing the necessary discretionary approvals for the Center.
